Apply for a no-parking zone in Bremen

In Bremen, you apply for a no-parking zone at the responsible police station. Allow at least 14 Tage for the processing time. After approval, you hire signs and put them up at least 72 hours before the appointment.

How to submit the application

The PDF application form can be downloaded, completed and submitted, by post or by email. You will find the email address of the responsible unit on page 2 of the application form.

You need the completed application form, a sketch of the zone and your contact details. If applicable, include proof of necessity (e.g. the moving date).

Processing time and lead time

Submit the application at least 14 Tage before the planned date. The Amt needs this time to process your application. Urgent applications are not possible, so plan in good time. After approval, you will receive a verkehrsrechtliche Anordnung.

Important notes

The application is only the first step. In the second step, you have to arrange the hire of the signs. This causes additional costs. Often it is less effort and quicker to commission a provider. If needed, they will take care of applying, putting up and taking down the signs. They also assume liability for the no-parking zone.

• Use the no-parking zone on moving day
• Take down the signs after the move
