You apply for a no-stopping zone in Essen via the Amt für Straßen und Verkehr. The authority issues the traffic regulation order for temporary no-stopping zones. Allow 3 to 6 W weeks lead time.

The Amt für Straßen und Verkehr of the City of Essen is responsible for all temporary no-stopping zones. You can submit the application in various ways.

Required documents

You need the following documents for your application:

  • Completed application form
  • Traffic sign plan with precise location details
  • Verpflichtungserklärung (only for private applicants)

Processing time
