Heat pump subsidy and providers
Start with the numbers: expected KfW grant, heating-law deadline, permit path, and the provider contact step.

Decide the order first
A heat-pump quote only becomes comparable when grant, deadline, and permit path are visible together. Use the calculator before contacting providers.
Funding in one view
- Federal grant
- KfW grant with bonuses, capped at 70% of eligible costs.
- Eligible cost cap
- The calculator applies the current cap of €30,000.
- Alternative
- The result also shows the tax bonus as a comparison value.
Heating-law deadlines
Large cities are first in line (30 June 2026); smaller municipalities follow on 30 June 2028, unless a heating-plan area is designated earlier.
Permit depends on pump type
Air-to-water systems are usually the simplest path. Ground-source collectors, boreholes, and water-to-water systems can require water-authority notice or approval.
Provider contact
Use the calculator result as the short brief for providers: pump type, project cost, bonus assumptions, deadline class, and permit note.
Estimate KfW grant, own contribution, heating-law deadline, and permit note.
