Important: The costs for the signage must be requested from the providers. These are not included in the official fee.

Sign costs

In Stuttgart, there is a special feature: The signs can only be put up by the Bauhof or a qualified specialist company. You are not allowed to put up the signs yourself.

Ask the Bauhof or a specialist company directly about the costs of sign rental and installation. The specialist company must be able to provide evidence of the necessary expertise on request.

Total costs

The total costs are made up of several items:

  1. Official fee (30-50 EUR for 1 day up to 1 Week)
  2. Putting up signs by the Bauhof or specialist company

Typical total costs for a move:

  • The official fee is clearly defined (30-50 EUR)
  • Sign costs vary depending on the provider

Do it yourself or use a service provider

Own application:

  • You submit the application yourself to the authority
  • The signs are put up by the Bauhof or a specialist company
  • Costs: administrative fee + set-up costs
  • Advantage: Clear fee structure

Removal company:

  • Many removal companies offer a complete service
  • Advantage: No hassle, everything from a single source

Important difference from other cities: In Stuttgart you are not allowed to put up the signs yourself. The set-up service is therefore mandatory.

Towing costs

If vehicles are parked illegally in your zone, they may be towed away. The vehicle owner bears the towing costs.

Attention: If the 72-hour deadline is not met, necessary towing measures will be carried out at the expense of the permit holder (that is, you).
