Notes on license types:

• Day hunting license -- For 14 consecutive days, e.g. for guest hunters
• Youth hunting license -- From age 16, hunting only under the supervision of an experienced person
• Falconry hunting license -- For hawking with birds of prey, requires a falconry examination
• Youth falconry hunting license -- For young people with a restricted falconry examination, hawking only under supervision

Additional Fees

• Replacement copy in case of loss: 18.00 EUR
• Certificate of issued hunting licenses: 11.00 EUR

Examination Costs

The Hunter's Examination in Bremen costs approximately 250 to 350 EUR. The exact amount is determined by the current Bremen fee schedule.

If you withdraw your application no later than one week before the examination starts, 50% will be refunded.

Training Costs

Bremen Hunting Association (Landesjaegerschaft Bremen)

• Course fee: 330 to 430 EUR
• Membership fee: approx. 100 EUR per year
• Duration: approx. 120 hours over 3-6 months

Commercial Hunting Schools

• Intensive courses: 2,000 to 3,000 EUR
• Depending on duration, accommodation and ammunition
