Facts, background and contact details for journalists and media representatives.

This page collects facts and contact details for journalists. AmtsGuide is based in Berlin.

About AmtsGuide

AmtsGuide makes government processes in Germany understandable, checkable and machine-readable. That covers city, district and federal state.

The platform turns administrative procedures into structured data, calculators and clear steps. You see what you need, what it costs, where to go and how long it takes. Every fact carries a source, a date and a scope.

AI and sources

AmtsGuide uses AI heavily. The AI scans government websites, pulls facts, finds structures and drafts texts. That is how government knowledge is prepared for hundreds of cities and municipalities.

AI alone is not enough. Our promise is checkable facts: source, date, responsible body and local scope. When a source changes, the need for an update stays visible.

This is our business model, not only marketing. AI collects data, structures it and prepares it. Which source applies, which municipality differs and which calculator may compute a deadline needs clear rules. That includes review and repeatable checks.

AmtsGuide is more than a set of articles. The website is one output. Calculators, interfaces and source-backed facts are the real product.
