About AmtsGuide

AmtsGuide makes government processes in Germany understandable, verifiable and machine-readable. For every city, every district, every federal state.

The platform translates complex administrative procedures into structured data, calculators and clear step-by-step interfaces: What do I need? What does it cost? Where do I go? How long does it take? Every claim should carry a source, freshness state and jurisdiction scope.

AI-Powered. Source-Backed.

We are upfront about this: AmtsGuide uses AI extensively. AI scans government websites, extracts facts, identifies structures and creates drafts. Without AI, it would not be possible to process government knowledge for hundreds of cities and municipalities.

But AI alone is not enough. Our promise is verifiable data: source, freshness, responsible authority, local scope and visible drift when an official source changes. When something changes, we make it visible.

This is not marketing. This is our business model. AI can collect, structure and process data. But deciding which source applies, which municipality differs and which calculator may compute a deadline requires rules, review and repeatable checks.

AmtsGuide is therefore not just a content product. The website is one output format; calculators, APIs and source-backed facts are the real product surface.

City comparison: AmtsGuide enables direct comparison of government processes between cities. Costs, deadlines, responsibilities and requirements are presented side by side in a structured format.

Provider directory: For topics like no-stopping zones, AmtsGuide lists selected service providers by city, with direct contact options.
