2. Data collection on this website
Server log files
The server automatically stores technical details in server log files. Your browser sends these details when you open a page.
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL, the page previously visited
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address, anonymised after 7 days
This data is not assigned to a specific person. We do not combine it with other data sources. The stored log data is automatically deleted after 7 days.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The purpose is the security and operation of the pages.
Umami Analytics, opt-in
We use Umami for reach measurement on our own server. Measurement with Umami starts only after your explicit consent.
What Umami collects:
- Page views without personal data
- Time spent on pages
- Approximate geographic region, country
- Device type, desktop, mobile or tablet
What Umami does not collect:
- No cookies
- No IP addresses
- No individual user profiles
- No personal data

Click tracking for provider links
A click on a provider link stores these details:
- Timestamp of the click
- Provider clicked as an anonymised token
- District from the URL
- Language version, DE or EN
- No IP address
- No personal data
Purpose: evidence of performance for providers Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest Retention period: 90 days

An email to us stores these details:
- Email address
- Message text
- Timestamp
Purpose: handling your enquiry Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps before a contract Article 6(1)(f) GDPR also applies to the reply. Retention period: until the enquiry is handled, then deletion

5. No disclosure to third parties
We do not disclose your personal data to third parties. Exceptions are a legal duty, a needed contract performance, and your explicit consent. Needed contract performance includes hosting by Hetzner.

To protect the data we use technical and organisational security measures.

We offer a newsletter through Substack. Substack is a service based in the United States.

AmtsGuide does not collect your email address for this newsletter. The subscription exists directly between you and Substack.
