What you should include in the application

To ensure your application is complete and can be processed promptly, you should provide the following details:

Applicant

• Name
• Address
• Telephone number
• Email address

Exact location of the no-stopping zone

• Street and house number
• affected section of road: start and end
• Side of the road
• Length of the zone in metres or approximate number of parking spaces

Period

• Start: date and time
• End: date and time

Purpose

For example:

• Removal
• Delivery
• Building site
• Event
• other necessary purpose

Sketch or site plan

A hand-drawn sketch is often sufficient, as long as the length and orientation are recognisable.

In the case of a Sondernutzung, a to-scale site plan is mandatory.

Vehicle details

If a specific parking space is to be reserved:

• Registration number
• gross vehicle weight rating

Assumption of costs

Add a note stating that you are willing to cover the official fees.

In the case of Sondernutzung

If the no-stopping zone is part of a building site or another Sondernutzung, the following may also be required:

• additional justification if the no-stopping zone is intended to be part of a building site
• to-scale site plan
• power of attorney where applicable, if you are not the client yourself

The no-stopping zone on its own does not automatically permit the additional use of the road space.

Fees

The official fee is 21,00 € and is independent of the duration and the length of the no-stopping zone.
