Appointments are possible Monday to Friday by arrangement.

Processing time

The processing time for the no-stopping zone is around four weeks.

What you should include in the application

To ensure your application is complete and can be processed quickly, you should provide the following information:

Applicant

• Name
• Address
• Telephone number
• Email address

Exact location of the no-stopping zone

• Street and house number
• affected section of road: start and end
• Side of the street
• Length of the zone in metres or approximate number of parking spaces

Period

• Start: date and time
• End: date and time

Purpose

For example:

• Move
• Delivery
• Building site
• Event
• other necessary purpose

Sketch or site plan

A hand-drawn sketch is often sufficient, as long as the length and orientation are recognisable.

In the case of a Sondernutzung, a "scaled site plan is mandatory.

Vehicle details

If a specific parking space is to be reserved:

• Registration number
• permissible maximum gross weight

Assumption of costs

Add a note that you are willing to cover the administrative fees.

In the case of Sondernutzung

If the no-stopping zone is part of a building site or another Sondernutzung, the following may also be required:

• additional justification if the no-stopping zone is to be part of a building site
• scaled site plan
• power of attorney if applicable, if you are not the client yourself

The no-stopping zone alone does not automatically permit additional use of the road space.

Sondernutzung for setting up a building site

For building site installations, an additional Sondernutzung permit is required. This applies, for example, to building sites, containers, scaffolding or other uses of public road land.

Fees for the Sondernutzung

• 2,00–7,50 € per month and m², depending on the street
• 4,00–20,00 € per month and m² for longer use

These fees are charged in addition to the fee for the traffic order.

Processing time for Sondernutzung applications

Processing can take up to three months if all required documents are complete.

Fees for the no-stopping zone

The administrative fee is 21,00 € and is independent of the duration and the length of the no-stopping zone.
