Required Documents
For your application you need the following information:
- First and last name
- New and old address
- Phone number
- Purpose of the no-stopping zone (carrying out a move)
- Date when the no-stopping zone should be established
- Period during which the no-stopping zone should be valid
- Area (street and house number), possibly sketch
- Length of the no-stopping zone (according to length of moving vehicle)

Submit the application at least 2 weeks before the desired date. Due to the high workload, processing may take time.
Important deadlines:

- Install signs: 72 hours (3 full days) before prohibition begins
Express processing is not available.
Important note about signs: In Stuttgart, the signs can only be installed by the municipal works department or a qualified specialist company. You are not allowed to install the signs yourself.
