How the subsidy is calculated
The grant depends on three factors: vehicle type (BEV or PHEV), your taxable income (zvE) from the last tax assessment and the number of children under 18 in the household. Children increase both the grant amount and the income threshold.
For BEV without children, the income limit is 80,000 euros taxable income. With one child, the limit rises to 85,000 euros, with two or more children to 90,000 euros. PHEV funding is completely withdrawn for taxable income above 80,000 euros.
