Fine proceedings documents

These documents help with questions and appeals.

Updated: May 4, 2026 · Updated

Important documents

For questions or appeal you mainly need the fine notice, reference number and evidence about the case. Keep the envelope and service note if the deadline matters.

Depending on the allegation, photos, logbooks, work schedules, repair records or witness details can matter.

Document Purpose
Fine notice Names the reference number, allegation, deadline and responsible authority.
Hearing form Shows earlier statements and possible deadlines.
Evidence Supports details about driver, vehicle, place, time or technical circumstances.

Contacting the authority

For every contact, include reference number, name, address and notice date. Without the reference number, assignment can take longer.

Use only the contact channels shown in the notice or on the responsible authority page.

For legal review

If points, a driving ban or high fines are possible, keep the notice, hearing form, previous letters and all evidence ready.

Access to the case file follows special rules and often runs through legal representation.
