Deadlines and processing time
Allow at least 14 Tage, preferably three to four weeks, for processing. The permit must be in place in good time before the signs are put up.
If you apply by post, you should also allow around a week for postal delivery.
Signage
Without written authorisation, the ordered no-stopping signs may not be erected.
Once authorisation has been granted, you must obtain or hire the signs yourself or have them put up by a specialist company. The signs must be erected no later than the fourth day before the planned date of validity.
After the approved period has expired, the signs must be removed immediately.
Documentation and advance logging
When putting them up, the registration plates and other recognisable features of the vehicles must be noted down that are parked in the no-stopping area at that time.
In addition, you should take photos of:
- Location and position of the signs
- Date and time of installation
- the demarcated area
- vehicles already parked
Use the current advance logging list from the “Formulare und Downloads” section of the official Munich service page.
Fees
The fees are based on the current fee schedule of the Mobilitätsreferat. The specific amount depends, among other things, on the duration, scope, location and purpose of the order.
You can find the current fee schedule in the “Formulare und Downloads” section:
