State funding in Hesse

WIBank provides funding under the Hessisches Energiegesetz (HEG) as well as its own programmes such as the "Hessisches Programm zur Energieeffizienz im Mietwohnungsbau". These are primarily aimed at municipalities, companies and landlords of rental homes, not owner-occupiers of one- and two-family homes. For private renovators, BAFA and KfW remain the main route. Programme durations and conditions change regularly.

Who investigates GEG violations in Hesse?
The districts and independent cities as lower building supervisory authorities. The nationwide GEG fine framework also applies here: up to 50.000 EUR.
Does Hesse offer its own grants for energy advice?
